Description

The Hong Kong Flower Show (the Show) is an annual highlight of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), which draws hundreds of thousands of visitors as well as participation from a large number of local, overseas and Mainland horticultural organisations each year.  The Show is participated by more than 200 organisations from different countries to design floral displays and landscaped gardens meticulously so as to create a splendid floral world for the visitors.

This year’s Show features Cosmos as its theme flower, with the theme being “Ablaze with Glory”.  The venue is filled with a riotously coloured display of Cosmos to offer delicately lovely flowers with veil-thin petals that flutter in light breeze, exuding a gentle and charming atmosphere.  Meanwhile, Cosmos are uniquely renowned for resilience and robustness.  Thanks to the ingenuity of horticulturists, the blooming flowers will definitely bring boundless exuberance to the Show.

During the show period, a rich diversity of educational and recreational activities will be organised for the visitors, including student drawing competition, photo competition, plant exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, workshops on greening activities, guided tours, recreational programmes, as well as parent-child fun games, etc.
